Process and Product

What makes us feel satisfied as creators? Is it the process, or the product? Or both? Ths question is especially important when we work with ephemeral arts, like improvised sound and movement. Some people just do not feel as though their efforts have been rewarded over time unless there is something to "show" for it. Others of a different temperament simply do not care. The Wisdom Within

Within each of us is a wealth of knowledge, power and wisdom, which can be evoked to benefit ourselves and those around us. Sometimes we forget, but as soon as we hear authentic truths, we may say, "I knew that."

Kelp

Kelp goes with the flow and has minimal attachment, despite its long reach and fast rate of growth. Becoming friends with kelp may help us trust, rather than fear, in impermanence. It offers an example of flexibility and provides lubrication. Kelp effortlessly lives in colonies.

By eating seaweed, we can make a link with the ancestral source of all life, the ocean, and we are small oceans ourselves, for contained within our skins our fluids have the same composition as the water of the sea.
